The Nevada Nurses Association believes that every nurse deserves to work in a civil and respectful atmosphere. However, too often lateral violence and bullying in the workplace create a toxic atmosphere that is damaging to nurses and can adversely affect quality of care.
NNA is committed to reducing lateral violence among and toward nurses. To that end, NNA, along with multiple nursing partners, created the State Collaborative on Lateral Violence in nursing, which is working toward the goal of reducing lateral violence.
We invite you to join the State Collaborative and become part of the solution to this problem.
Interested in scheduling training for your staff on lateral violence? We have approved instructors in lateral violence available throughout the state.
